Queen & Illustrator


Did you know Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is an illustrator? She is also a painter and clothing designer. Queen Margrethe II illustrated the Danish edition of The Lord of the Rings under the pseudonym Ingahild Grathmer. When our tour guide shared this fact I squealed with excitement. If you ever get the chance to travel to Copenhagen, do it. There are free walking tours where you learn amazing facts, history and culture.
